    Description

This is the same bolt-on kit that was used by the Factory BMW's in the Baja 1000. This kit was also used on the Factory effort and won the Pikes Peak Hill climb. This mounting hardware slides in underneath the bars and fits nicely in that very small space between the tank and head tube. The entire kit takes only minutes to install and it makes your HP2 a dream to ride.

Some 2010 Mega-Moto models have the ABS brake junction directly behind the head tube where the Scott's bracket mounts. These models will not accept their kit due to the interference of this brake junction. If you are not sure about whether your Mega Moto model works or not, please call and we can verify or explain how you can check your model.

This application requires the damper to be fitted with a -5mm stepped link arm. The link arm and puller to remove existing arm are included in the Mount Kit Only Options. The Full Kit will come with the arm pre-installed.

"SUB" mount stands for Stabilizer Under Bars, originally designed for raising the bars. These kits are designed for use with Oversize bars. "Bar reducers" are available as an option, to convert the kit to standard diameter bars, should that be desired.

This concept allows more room for other equipment such as, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) or Enduro/Rally computers and yet still retain the quick access for adjusting the stabilizer. This is also good for the taller rider who wants his bars a little higher, as it raises the bar location approximately 11-25mm, depending on the model of bike. In some cases, you might consider a lower bend handlebar bend at the same time, unless you are trying to achieve a higher bar height along with your stabilizer installation.

The Photo attached here may be a generic photo to show you the basic components in the kit, but may not be showing the exact kit for your specific bike.
