Held’s race department doesn’t do “good enough”

The Titan XR2 is Held’s flagship racing glove — the only one on this list certified to EN 13594:2015 Level 2, the higher of the two protection classes for motorcycle gloves. Kangaroo leather covers the entire glove for maximum abrasion resistance, backed by shock-absorbing foam across the back of the hand and thumb. Titanium knuckle protectors and a titanium-reinforced hard plastic side shell handle direct impact, while the ball of the hand, knuckles and pinky get an extra layer of highly abrasion-resistant stingray leather. A finger-bridge between the ring and pinky, reinforced with an aramid ceramic polymer matrix coating, keeps fingers from splaying apart in a slide. This is a glove built for the track first, and everything else second.

Available in men’s and women’s sizes 7–12.
