Integrated high-performance protection cover for the water pump cover

The water pump is located on the right-hand side of the engine, far forward in an exposed position. It is easily recognisable by the hose leading to the radiator. The water pump housing, and therefore the function of the water pump, is at risk in the event of an unfortunate tip-over or fall. That is why we consider it sensible to equip this unit with an additional protection cover. After all, a water pump failure always means the ride comes to a halt; otherwise, severe engine damage may occur because cooling is no longer guaranteed.

For protection, we have developed an exceptionally precise-fitting, impact-resistant and lightweight cover that reliably protects the water pump. It stands out thanks to its attractive design.

Our developers designed the structure of the cover so that mechanical loads and force peaks are evenly distributed and dissipated across the component structure of the cover. An elastomer moulded element made of silicone, fitted on the inside, provides additional damping. It also seals the cover against the original water pump cover, keeping dirt, moisture and dust out.

The cover can be installed in just a few minutes using the supplied fitting kit.
