In 2021, we welcomed a new family member to our ELEPHANT range: theBAG series. All bags in the ELEPHANTBAG series stand out with a streamlined, minimalist design and their absolute waterproof construction. They are UV-resistant, built tough, with high-strength, abrasion-resistant, and durable fabric.

Our precisely fitted ELEPHANTBAG top case bags sit securely on the side cases. That makes them the ideal travel companion for big tours. They are tailored to fit and feature a convenient yet secure fastening system. This enables them to be mounted on cases equipped with lashing eyelets, such as our EXTREME panniers, original BMW aluminium panniers (suitable for BMW R 1250 GS and Adventure, R 1200 GS LC and Adventure, F 900 GS and Adventure, F 850 GS and Adventure) as well as on our proven luggage mounts for original Vario plastic cases developed specifically for the GS models. The cases can still be opened and closed even with the top bags attached. The undersides are kind to paint and feature anti-slip material to prevent scuffing. The generous 18-litre volume can be expanded by 8 litres to a total of 26 litres using an all-round zip.

The base of the top bag includes a form-stable insert all the way around. Inside the lid, a spacious mesh pocket is provided for items you need quickly to hand while on the road. It’s secured with a zip.

The rigidly constructed top bags provide reliable support and protection for your gear and don’t flap even at high speeds. This means no flapping noise either. Particularly handy: no additional waterproof cover is needed for riding in the rain. What’s more, they make a comfortable armrest for the pillion rider.

All in all, quite possibly the most comfortable and practical extension of your side cases.

The finely woven structure of the CORDURA® 500 used in the ELEPHANT DRYBAG system highlights the clean, minimalist design of the new series. To ensure waterproofing and shape stability, a durable TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) coating is laminated to the inside of this premium technical fabric. All seams and reinforcements are carefully and permanently welded to be waterproof. The zips are of high quality, waterproof, and dustproof. They're also user-friendly to operate.

On top, theBAGs are finished with an integrated top cover, produced in the same way as our tank bags. This protective cap covers the top of the bags and the zips, ensuring complete waterproofing.

The cover features a mounting system similar to the military MOLLE standard, with regularly spaced oval slots. This allows additional accessory bags to be easily attached using handy loops.
