A costly and complex steering damper mod -- until now
A longstanding problem has been the expense and installation complexity of adapting one to these bikes. Beyond the investment cost of the damper itself, you also needed to buy a new top triple clamp/top yoke. Any other solution doesn't use the leading Scotts stabiliser.
TripleClamp Moto took a hard look at that pricey and complicated dilemma, wanting to design a smarter, far less costly option compared to existing solutions.
We have developed a Damper Mount Kit that lets you bolt the Scotts steering stabilizer straight onto the original top triple clamp/top yoke WITHOUT the need to change any original part. And it fits all KTM 950/990 Adventure and 950SE model years. This simple yet effective design approach retains the integrity of the original clamp and handlebar mounting system; and installs in minutes.

Better still, our Damper Mount Kit raises the handlebar by 22mm, while offering four new front / rear position options. The result: More positioning options.
Our Damper Mount Kit is beautifully crafted from clear anodized billet aluminum and engineered to withstand extreme torque levels and the nastiest rider abuse. The full kit includes the damper bracket, damper post, post mount and mounting hardware.
Safari Tank
For those with a 950 Super Enduro and the Safari fuel tank, this kit WILL fit with zero interference.
