Ilmberger uses pre-impregnated carbon fibre matrices for its high-quality carbon components. The fibre volume is defined and the orientation of each individual layer specified. The matrix is then hand-laminated without air inclusions and finished with a protective coating. After curing in the autoclave, the carbon components meet the highest standards and withstand extreme loads.

This aerospace-grade material unfolds its full potential with a weight saving of up to 70% compared with the OEM part and its outstanding stiffness-to-weight ratio. The shape consistently follows function and integrates perfectly into the motorcycle’s design.
