Ilmberger Oil Cooler Cover for the BMW R 12 nineT, finished in carbon-matt. Ilmberger uses a specially developed prepreg – pre-impregnated carbon fibre matrices – for the high-quality carbon. The fibre volume is dimensioned and the alignment of the individual fibre layers is defined. The matrix is hand-laminated bubble-free and coated twice with a protective layer, then hardened in an autoclave so the finished components meet the highest demands and stresses.
