Description
The Hippo Hands Bar End Adapters are designed for an easy, secure, low profile solution for bikes without hand guards while providing a simple, sturdy attachment point for installing your Hippo Hands.
These are perfect the solution for BMW RTs, Honda Goldwings, classic bikes, scooters, and any other bike without hand guards.
They feature a compact design—measuring 3 5/8" by 1 1/2"—and are made from UHMW for incredible durability. Adapters will fit both threaded bar ends and open bar ends. The Open Bar End version comes with thread tap and bolts.
Installation
The Threaded Bar End version comes with two (2) hex key head M8 50mm coarse thread screws, which should fit great on a BMW RT and the majority of stock models with weighted bar ends. If you're fitting a bike outside of this fitment—we hate to say it, but—you may need to make a trip to your local hardware store to buy the perfect screw/bolt for your particular set-up.
To complete installation, you'll need an Allen wrench for the screws that come with the Threaded Bar End version of the BEAs.
** Open end 7/8" bars (not threaded bar ends) will require the Bar End inserts — thread tap included.
