BRP - Sub Mount Damper Assembly For 2000-2007 Honda XR650R (SMA-10006P3-2)

NOTE: This SUB mount will require using a set of 3″ Extended Throttle Cables. ( These Cables will ONLY work with the stock carburetor)

Motion Pro cables are the highest quality in aftermarket cables. These cables are custom made by Motion Pro for this application. Some cable re-routing may be necessary.

The BRP SUB “Scotts Under Bar” Mount is specifically designed for the BRP Triple Clamp and is designed to run 1 1/8″ ProTaper style handlebar and mount a Scotts stabilizer below the handlebar replacing the bar mount assembly on your BRP or Scotts triple clamp.

The SUB Mount setup offers several benefits over a conventional “above bar” stabilizer setup.

• Reduced risk of injury by coming into contact with stabilizer
• Approximately 1″ taller bar position on most models
• Enables you to run a bar pad for 1 more level of protection

BRP XR SUB Mounts are designed exclusively to fit BRP or Scotts triple clamps only. If you are running a BRP or Scotts triple clamp the SUB Mount is an easy bolt on assembly. When running a stabilizer on this SUB Mount setup it will require the use of a 34mm extended link arm and forward mount style tower. The XR 650 requires extended throttle cables and the XR 400 requires you to re-route the cables.

SPECIAL NOTES:
When running a Scotts stabilizer in the SUB Mount configuration you will need to use the 34mm extended link arm and forward mount style tower. Using a lower bend bar can often emulate the stock bar height. Due to the SUB Mounts increased height, triple clamp style enduro handguard mounts will not work with many bar bends so we recommend running the BRP BMI-9254 Hand Guard Mounts.
