The Highmark Guide Avalanche Airbag features a Snowpulse Protection Airbag System. Like all Highmark packs, the GUIDE is designed specifically for snowmobilers and features the things sledders love left-hand trigger pulls, exterior shovel storage, a big fleece-lined goggle pocket, and smart storage. The GUIDE cranks out a full 32L of storage, catering to those riders who are carrying more into the backcountry first aid kits, communication devices, extra gear, you name it.
The Guide is the largest airbag pack ever made by Highmark. Says the product development team, "traditionally, we’ve made packs that top out at 22L because that’s what snowmobilers demanded – they wanted minimal, lightweight packs. However, over the past two seasons, there has been a demand, especially from snowmobile guides and instructors that they needed a bigger pack that could handle more safety gear."
The Guide comes in at 10 additional litres than the popular PRO pack, but otherwise looks remarkably similar. Like the PRO, the Guide features the Protection Airbag System (P.A.S.), a large main stow compartment and goggle pocket.
