You need to remove the lens from the housing of your bike's headlight, and enlarge two holes in the back of the plastic housing to install the kit. The lens does not need to be glued back in place allowing you to access the lights for cleaning as required. Some hardware from the factory headlight is reused in this kit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe headlight harness is reused with small modifications for the marker light plug that is explained in the manual. Basically you need to cut the wirings going to the small marker light and crimp a connected to them (included in the kit). We can include a new plug-and-play harness if you don't want to modify yours for additional cost.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eHow would the lights work with the handlebar switch\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe larger light (XL80) is used for the high and low beam. When the low beam is on, the XL80 will operates at 20% dimmed level. The dimming level can be adjusted if you use a different harness with a programmable dimmer that is available separately. We find the 20% dimming spot on perfect.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe smaller light up top (S2 Pro) is connected to your marker light wiring. It is always on in the US model bikes. On the bikes with EU handle bar switch, you have more control on the lights that allows you to turn off the S2 and the XL80. The EU switch is fully compatible with this kit and can be added to all other models.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eEU\/ US\/ AU model headlights\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis kit can be fitted to both EU and US model headlight housings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003ePower usage\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe LED lights use 80 + 24 = 104 watts.
